During that time, she’s witnessed a steep decline in ocean wildlife numbers — and a sharp incline in the number of ocean deadzones and oil drilling sites. Syvia Earle has done some tremendous work. Watch 'Mission Blue' on Netfilx to gain some idea of all that she has done.

A real, living legend, trying to save the world's oceans.
